Have I mentioned how much I adore Louis Ferreira too?

How could anyone not? He seems like the happiest guy in the world. THE WORLDDDDDD.

Hmmm. I am getting down. I might have to run off back to Skyrim. TRALEELAALEELAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA~

I can’t decide between Empire and Stormcloaks yet. I don’t like either really, but I prefer the Empire’s colour scheme harhar… that’s the same reason I didn’t like FNV all that much. All the main people you could side with -  I couldn’t stand any of them, but I like to have people to side with instead of just killing EVERYONE… but at least with Skyrim I do like the Thieves, Bards, Dark Brotherhood and Companions so far at any rate… for some reason I’ve got something against mages though… IDK.

The cheat codes wore off?! WHUT? Idk even understand how that would work…… bleeeeeergh. They worked fine for me all the time…

The way I got better at combat in Morrowind (before I discovered cheat codes - I got up to Lv 70 without them) was I went to houses with random people in and just bashed the hell out of whoever was in there. When I ran out of stamina or health, I went outside and waited, and then just went back in and did it all over again until they died and my skills increased (then I ransacked the place… obviously this can be a bit touch and go if you aren’t sure whether or not they’re gonna be involved in a quest, but at least the game warns you when you’ve killed someone important). It took FOREVER but you’re right, unless you do something stupid like that, there really is no way to get better at it…

But yeah I totally understand people not liking it if they played Oblivion first. Most people I’ve met who played Morrowind first like it best though… And conversely, anyone who played Arena and Daggerfall before Morrowind think Morrowind was the worst one. I only ever got Arena to work on DOSbox once though and couldn’t figure it out ever again hahaha… so I never got anywhere in that… I’m curious as to just how BIG it is though (if I remember correctly - and I probably don’t - the map was about 10X the size of the UK… IDK if that’s right… it seems ludicrous)

yeah, exactly
i understand that having to decide between factions that both have good and bad sides makes it more interesting ethically, but it’s really frustrating as a player
i don’t want to side with a colonizing force, but i don’t wanna side with racist dicks either! urgh
and all the mages in skyrim seem to be kind of dickish :B haha

yes cripes, i had the invincibility cheat on and it wore off ten minutes in! i didn’t even know that could happen
but i’ll try your way because i really want to play that game X__X i’m willing to assault random villagers if it means i’ll finally be able to enjoy morrowind

ah i played arena too! but only a little bit (because, um… i really really suck at video games. a lot. i am terrible)
i recall that the game was supposed to be fucking gigantic, though 10 times the size of the UK does seem… really impressive, if it’s true :’D

Yeah choosing factions sucks because I really can’t HELP but play Bethesda games as if it were ACTUALLY me. That is to say - I can’t just kill random people because I’m told to, I get attached to NPCs who are a little bit weiiiiiird, I really WANT there to be a peaceful solution to things (especially when it comes to bandits/raiders), I get super pissed when you are lead to believe you can side with crazy characters who then turn around and try to murder you, I’m not a fan of grumpy bastards (unless they’r hot because I’m shallow), I fall TOTALLY AND UTTERLY IN LOVE with my companion/follower, aaaaaaand I’m basically a nice person, if a little sneaky/naughty/idiotic/whatever. So when it comes to choosing sides I’m always left thinking “Can’t I just work for all of you as a double/triple/quadruple/etc agent???”

I can’t help it, I find it reaaaaaally hard to detach myself from these games and just KILL EVERYONE (or whatever).

I dunno about any invincibility cheat… I know I used to play in godmode sometimes but I’d end up turning that off myself out of boredom so nooo idea if it lasts. Were you playing on PC (is it even possible to use cheat codes for Xbox? Idek…)?

About the size, that IS what I heard but it does seem kinda massive if that’s the case…

I know you’ve all seen this picture before, but here’s a lovely large size of it. Enjoy!

Maybe it’s just me, but I’d be sitting in his lap working on his teeth instead of besides him, but that’s just me XD

LOL I dunno, I’m probably not further than you (I’m completely ignoring the main quest), but I’m not focussing on anything in particular. I’m doing the side quests for the Thieves atm, as well as chipping away at the Companions stuff but I really do get sick of “Go into this cave/dungeon and kill all the bad dudes”. NO. SEND SOMEONE ELSE.

And I recently did that creepy quest for Molag Bal… I’ve always liked him, despite him beinga  creepy-rapist-crocodile-of-doom. Mmm Daedra Lords~ I love them so much. How can you not love a guy who locks you in a scary cage and then orders you to beat a guy to death with a mace? Oh wait…….. that’s awful…………..

Did you play Morrowind before Oblivion or after? I think if you play it retrospectively, it’d be hard to get into… the journal is impossible. Like you say, the combat is lousy… and some of the quests are freaking hard (to the point that when I had to steal hard to get things I’d end up changing into a werewolf, killing everyone - since it only counts as failing the quest if you kill them in human form - and then go back later to take the stuff… Without the Bloodmoon add-on though I don’t see how you can do some of it!! And I got the game in the early 00s, and didn’t even know about Bloodmoon/Tribunal until yeaaaaaaaaars after it came out so I don’t even know HOW long I was missing out on them… Playing Morrowind before you have reg. access to the internet was a weird thing because before next gen consoles finding people who had games in common with you was really freakin hard for some reason!!!

But with Morrowind I was playing for YEARS before I even realised there was a main quest hahaha. That’s how lost I got in the game… I just ran around killing things and doing no quests, and I was fine with that. Well, it was the first game I played that was so huge, and I was about 11 or 12 maybe? I know the game inside out by now (except Vivec… I still get lost in Vivec…). It just seemed like all the characters had so much more backstory to them. I guess that was kind of easy since they didn’t have to record all the dialogue though…

But I’m sure it’s possible to have played it pre-Oblivion and still dislike it… I JUST DON’T SEE HOW. Hahaha…… I’m rambling………. I just think if they remade Morrowind with the Skyrim game engine and pretty graphics it would be the best game in history EVEEEEEEER.

But I love Dagoth Ur and Vivec (the characters not the places). I found them very interesting. And the fact that you got to play a reincarnation of a god. In Oblivion, you play such a nobody, I found that annoying… they don’t even make you emperor after you WIN AT EVERYTHING. Why the hell not?!?!?!  I WANTED TO BE EMPEROR!!!

hahaha ah okay, so maybe we’re about even
i’ve done a few main story quests and i decided to side with the empire, ‘cause a lot of the stormcloaks i’ve met are hell of racist

that’s why i like the thieves guild stuff so much! well, besides the fact that i get to steal so much stuff. the way the quests are set up are way more interesting than a lot of the more minor quests. same with the dark brotherhood, but i feel really really guilty about killing those people *__*

i played it after oblivion
i had played oblivion for 200 hours or something and i loved it SO MUCH that i thought morrowind was gonna be just incredibly amazing
and the environments and characters and everything WERE really cool, it’s just… i really suck at video games, and there was no difficulty slider and my guy just kept on missing at all times so i barely got anywhere
…and the cheat codes wore off within ten minutes, WHY DOES THAT HAPPEN

if they remade it with skyrim’s combat system and graphics i’m pretty sure it would be my favorite game ever
i would never leave it, the xbox controller would merge with my hands

 hahahahhaa
being emperor would suck though! i doubt they let the emperor run around killing bandits
you’d just be stuck signing treaties all day
…being duke of mania was pretty fantastic though

PLAY SKYRIM. the environment is kind of dull but the quest lines and new gameplay stuff totally make up for it :D

I have chosen Skyrim, if only…
